I recently told my sister that one of the great joys of being 40 is the gift of not giving a shit about what other people think anymore. No one can hold you back. All of your experiences of latent racism are unfair and wrong and its sad that it happens every day. I’m sure just writing this was cathartic, thanks for sharing, Saira.
