Introducing my newest venture, Flow State Industries

A starling murmuration, the synchronized dance of birds in the sky all in a perfect state of flow – communicating, collaborating, and co-creating a scene of beauty. A beautiful sunset above the Dry Creek Valley with birds in the perfect flow state inspired the name for my new company.

Today, I'm proud to introduce Flow State Industries, a new company dedicated to connecting talent with opportunity. Flow State gives people a place to do their best work, channel their creative energy, and work anywhere, anytime in our new borderless world.

Web3 technologies are transforming the internet and democratizing the economy. Movements which unlock human potential and create agency in people's lives are powerful. Over the course of my career, I’ve been part of grassroots movements like open-source software and coworking, which have led to industry transformations.

I feel the same energy in the Web3 movement today.

We have the opportunity to build products that align incentives for community participation through tokenomics, and I believe we're on the verge of a revolution in democratized software platforms. I’m launching Flow State Industries to connect my global network of talent to work opportunities in the Web3 ecosystem.

Over the last 20 years, I've built relationships with a vast network of amazing technology talent around the world. We now have a diaspora of engineers in Eastern Europe and beyond. I've witnessed first-hand the explosion of talent in places like Nigeria and, through Launch Pad, created coworking communities home to developer, designer, creative, and executive talent.

I’m excited to bring the very best talent onto the Flow State platform.

In the last two years, my businesses have been tested by exogenous events, a global pandemic, and a war. If I’ve learned one thing in my career, it’s to look for the opportunity in crisis. Being resilient means adapting to change and moving forward.

My team and I are building the Flow State Industries platform to connect Web3 talent to opportunity, empowering people to do their best work with the recognition that the work, and not the where, is what matters.
