London Tech Company Opens Baton Rouge HQ
The Louisiana Technology Park in Baton Rouge has a new addition, Enta Campus. It will be interesting to see how the LA Tech Park can help this company, especially in a city like Baton Rouge with its manic tiger fans. On its site, Enta claims that it’s “the only product that offers the total ticket solution while supplying the most functionality running on the latest Microsoft products…Enta software has proven that the Ticketing Solution is capable of supporting in excess of 1,000 current users selling upwards of 100,000 tickets per hour.”
100k tickets an hour, huh? That’s good. They’ll definitely have that kind of volume when football season starts. Although the Business Report story says Enta chose the Tech Park because of the Gullf Opportunity Zone Tax Credit, I have a feeling something else is going on here. I predict that in a year, the Tech Park will have assisted in transforming Enta into a slick, college-student-friendly social network.
From the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report:
Enta Campus, a London-based international ticketing management system, has opened its U.S. offices in the Louisiana Technology Park. The company, which manages online ticketing, management and marketing solutions to colleges in North America, is in the process of hiring 10 employees and anticipates building to a staff of 25, says Stephen Loy, spokesman for the Tech Park. Enta Campus chose the Tech Park over locations in North Carolina, Colorado and California. One of the factors was the Gulf Opportunity Zone New Markets Tax Credit Program. Enta Campus is used in Europe and Australia, its first U.S. client is the University of New Mexico.
