Thank you for the warm responses to my book announcement. That you look forward to receiving this newsletter each week is food for my soul.
In sharing about my book, Analog, I’m hoping to make this more of a two-way conversation. Sort of a whaddya call it again, community? I write stuff and send it to you. You might find it helpful, love it, hate it, share it, or maybe you write something back to me. Hearing from Adele and others really made my week.
So, what to write about? Here’s where I’m asking for your help.
I knew a chef learned how she created recipes for her restaurant. It was a daily ritual of mapping ingredients, fresh and seasonal, ready to be used, into that evening’s menu. Each dish a creative expression. The process was constrained by what she wanted to cook and what she had. All with the guests top of mind, what would nourish and bring joy.
In writing for my community, I’m applying the same framework. The ingredients I have on hand are my life experiences and lessons I can share. The question is, what will nourish you and bring joy?
Here are some dishes (headlines) I could put on our menu. Does anything look appetizing to order (read)?
Sparking joy through living analog in a digital world.
Can the patient be saved? What to do with a struggling business.
Rejection and redemption. From non-believer son of a preacher man to a spiritual seeker.
Practices I’ve incorporated that helped free me from my crippling anxiety

Last week was Harper’s 5th birthday. She said something to me that made my heart sing:

PS: I’ve started a music-based podcast called Radio Cósmico. If you fancy hearing some great music, a few stories, and words of inspiration, give it a listen on Spotify. Enjoy.
definitely 'pursuit of passion' -- as Neil Young once asked, are you passionate? as opposed to retiring, at our age, I think it's much about how you're choosing to re-fire -- good to see you doing a podcast, music festivals, and living life in a good way -- cool to see that we're both producing shows -- music is love -- and it seems to be the best way to bring people together in a good way
